His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, is attending the Africa Business Investment Summit (ABIS) 2026 today at the MGM National Harbor in Maryland.
The summit, convened by the Millennium Excellence Foundation under his royal patronage, aims to connect global investors with transformative opportunities across Africa.
The Asantehene is scheduled to deliver the Royal Keynote Address. His presence is expected to elevate the proceedings, drawing on his experience as a successful businessman and investor before ascending the throne.
The summit targets $4 billion in African investment opportunities to institutional investors.
The event marks the first time the summit is held on American soil and serves as the commercial centrepiece of Millennium Excellence Week America 2026.
