Mahama Reveals Vice President’s Upcoming Trip to Ghana

President John Dramani Mahama has announced that Vice President Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang is expected to return to Ghana by the end of next week.

The Vice President is currently in the United Kingdom receiving medical care following a brief illness.

Speaking during a durbar at the Old Ghanata Astroturf in Dodowa as part of his ‘Thank You Tour’ on Friday, May 16, President Mahama shared an update on her condition.

“I bring you greetings from H.E. the Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang. I’m happy to state that I spoke to her on Thursday, May 15, and she will be back in the country before the end of the week.

“By God’s grace, she’s fully recovered, and she’s going to come back to her duties.”
