Vice President’s Recovery Hailed by Bawumia and Samira in Heartfelt Message

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has welcomed Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang back to Ghana after her medical leave in the United Kingdom.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, the former Vice President and NPP presidential candidate for the 2024 elections, thanked God for her swift recovery and wished her well as she resumes her official duties.

His message stated, “A warm welcome back home to Vice President Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang. Samira Bawumia and I thank God for your speedy recovery and wish you all the best as you return to work.”

Ready to work

Upon her return, Professor Opoku-Agyemang expressed her eagerness to resume her role and contribute significantly to Ghana’s development. “I’m very happy to be back,” she said with a smile. “So much has happened, and there is still so much more we need to do. However, I believe that through our collective will, we will achieve much more for our country.”
