ECOWAS has confirmed the withdrawal of Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger from the regional block effective today, Wednesday January 29, 2025.
In a press statement, ECOWAS outlined certain arrangements, which all member states are bound to follow, following the withdrawal of the three countries.
