Fiifi Kwetey: Mahama’s Administration to Enforce Zero Tolerance for Corruption

President John Dramani Mahama has warned that any of his appointees found engaging in corruption or any actions that bring the integrity of the nation into disrepute will be dismissed and, if necessary, prosecuted.

Fiifi Kwetey, the General Secretary of the NDC, stated that the President made it clear to Cabinet Ministers that he would not protect any corrupt officials.

Legacy

Speaking on PM Express on Joy News last night, Kwetey emphasized the President’s commitment to leaving a positive legacy.

This statement follows the recent public outcry regarding Sammy Gyamfi, the acting CEO of the GoldBod who gave a gift of dollars to Evangelist Mama Pat, also known as Agradaa. “None of them will be shielded. We are not protecting anyone,” Kwetey asserted.

Cautious

He stressed the importance of appointees being cautious in their actions while serving the nation, warning, “No one will be protected for shortchanging the nation.”
