UN Eulogises Bawumia For Ghana’s Digital Economic Transformation

The United Nations (UN) has expressing appreciation to former Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia for his contributions to Ghana’s peace, democracy and development.

The UN Resident Coordinator in Ghana, Charles Abani who called on Dr Bawumia at his residence on Tuesday, February 4, to deliver the message to him, particularly highlighted the former Vice President’s vision and initiatives for Ghana’s digital economic transformation, which he championed as Vice President and also his early concession in the 2024 elections.

National interest
Dr Bawumia reiterated his conviction that national interest must always supersede personal ambition of politicians. He thanked the UN for their kind words and support for Ghana’s progress.
