Living Streams International Calls for Unity at July 1 Prayer Day Event

The Founder and General Overseer of Living Streams International, Rev. Dr. Ebenezer Markwei, has pledged his full support for the upcoming National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, scheduled for July 1, 2025.

He emphasised the significance of national gratitude and the need to rise above partisan politics in a spirit of unity.

Rev. Dr. Markwei made these remarks during a visit by the Planning Committee of the National Day of Prayer and Thanksgiving, led by its Chairman, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, on Wednesday, June 11.

He also expressed optimism for the success of the current John Mahama administration and the nation as a whole, noting that collective support and thanksgiving could unlock new opportunities for Ghana.

The preacher urged Ghanaians to move beyond the desire for revenge and instead work together to address national challenges and promote development.

“We will all rally behind him, and lift up our hands and say thank you. We will hold our hands in unity and say thank you. Because our Thanksgiving is going to open a new gate for the country. I want JM to succeed.

“It is time for us to rise above this partisan thing that undermines and hurts this country’s progress. I am in support of this project. Call me in the morning, in the night, I will respond,” he declared.
